1. Definitions

Referrer: a current Pillow user on an iOS device who shares a personal referral link or code from the Pillow app on that device.
Invitee: a person who receives the Referrer’s link or code and installs/opens Pillow on their own device.
First Seen At: the timestamp when Pillow first detects that an Invitee has opened the app on a device.
Claim: the Invitee successfully redeems the referral by reopening the referral link after install, claiming the reward of the referral.
Conversion: the Invitee has subscribed to Pillow Premium as a new user (requires no payment). 

2. Program Overview

The Referrer shares their personal referral link or code with an Invitee. The Invitee must be a new user and Claim the referral within the eligibility window (Section 3). Invitee reward: 6 months of Pillow Premium at no charge (subject to Section 6). Referrer reward: 6 months of Pillow Premium, only after the Invitee Converts (Section 5). Unless explicitly stated otherwise by Pillow, the Program is limited to one (1) rewarded Invitee per Referrer.

3. Eligibility

3.1 Referrer

Must be an existing Pillow user on iOS with the app installed on a compatible device. Self‑referrals (including referring your own Apple ID or device), duplicate installs, device farms, simulators/emulators, or other attempts to bypass restrictions are prohibited. Limit: one rewarded referral per person and Apple ID unless Pillow states otherwise.

3.2 Invitee ("New User")

Must be new to Pillow: they have not used Pillow in the past. Eligibility window: the Invitee’s First Seen At must be ≤ 7 days old at the time of Claim. If First Seen At is not provided, the date the Invitee is first created in our referral system is used. The Invitee must Claim using the supported methods (referral link reopen). Claims outside the window or without a supported method are ineligible.

3.3 Territory & Age

Available only where Pillow Premium and Apple Offer Codes (if used) are supported by the Apple App Store. Participants must be 18+ or the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

4. How to Participate

Share your link or code from the Pillow app. Use the iOS Share Sheet or copy to clipboard.
Invitee taps the link. If Pillow is installed, the app opens and the referral is attributed automatically. If not installed, the Invitee is taken to a web page with an Install button and the referral code.
Invitee Claim (within 7 days of First Seen At). After installing, the Invitee either reopens the referral link to claim the reward.
Pillow updates the Referrer’s in‑app status on the Referrer device that generated the referral.

5. Referrer Reward (6 months of Premium)

Granted only when the Invitee Converts, meaning the Invitee starts a subscription to Pillow Premium. No payment is required from the Referrer to redeem. For existing subscribers, the reward takes effect at the next renewal and no charge is taken up front; the current paid period continues unchanged. Delivery method may be an Apple Offer Code or an equivalent entitlement added to the Referrer’s Apple ID receipt. If the Referrer already has Premium, the reward extends the existing subscription by 6 months; otherwise the reward starts Premium for 6 months. Rewards are non‑transferable, no cash value, and may be redeemed only on the same Apple ID used on the Referrer device that shared the referral. Pillow may revoke or refuse a reward if the Invitee’s claim or purchase is refunded/reversed, if fraud or abuse is suspected, or if eligibility requirements were not met.

6. Invitee Reward (6 months of Premium)

The Invitee receives 6 months of Premium for free once the referral is successfully claimed. This free period is not redeemed automatically: the Invitee will receive an Offer Code and can redeem it at any time within the code’s validity window. No upfront payment is required. After the free 6‑month period, Premium auto‑renews at the standard price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal (Apple billing terms apply). Pricing and availability vary by region. Not combinable with other free trials, intro offers, or promotions unless explicitly stated by Pillow.

7. Attribution & Disputes

Attribution is deterministic and credited to: (a) the first valid referral link that opens the Pillow app on the Invitee device/Apple ID, or (b) the first valid referral/offer code redeemed by the Invitee. If multiple Referrers share links with the same Invitee, the first successful Claim is credited.

8. Limits and Abuse

The Program is intended for personal invitations to friends and family. Public posting on coupon/discount sites, paid ads, bulk messaging, misleading communications, or any attempts to game attribution are prohibited. Pillow may suspend, refuse, or reverse rewards for abuse, suspicious activity, or violations of these Terms.

9. How rewards apply to existing vs new subscribers

General note: Offer Codes for the annual plan provide a free 6‑month period and then continue at the standard annual price unless auto‑renew is turned off. No upfront payment is collected when redeeming the code.

9.1 Existing subscribers (Referrers)

If you are on the annual plan: The code takes effect at your next annual renewal. You are not charged at that renewal; your subscription continues with 6 months free. After those 6 months, you are billed the annual price and a new annual cycle begins from that billing date. Your current paid period is not shortened.

If you are on the quarterly plan (not available to new users): At your next quarterly renewal, your subscription switches to the annual planand starts with 6 months free. After 6 months, you are billed the annual price and continue annually. No upfront payment.

If you are on the monthly plan (not available to new users): At your next monthly renewal, your subscription switches to the annual plan and starts with 6 months free. After 6 months, you are billed the annual price and continue annually. No upfront payment.

Auto‑renew: If auto‑renew is off when the free period ends, the subscription will stop instead of renewing. Turning off auto‑renew does not cancel the free period itself.

9.2 New subscribers (Invitees)

Redeeming the code starts 6 months of Premium for free immediately on the annual plan. After 6 months, the subscription auto‑renews at the standard annual price unless auto‑renew is turned off. No upfront payment is required.

9.3 Combinations and conflicts

Offer Codes do not stack with other trials, introductory offers, or promotions for the same purchase. The first successful redemption applies. Plan changes (e.g., monthly/quarterly to annual) occur at the next renewal, not mid‑cycle.

10. Program Changes and Termination

Pillow may modify, suspend, or end the Program at any time, including changes to eligibility, reward amounts, or time windows. Changes apply prospectively and do not affect rewards already granted unless obtained fraudulently.

11. Legal

No endorsement: Apple is not a sponsor of or responsible for this promotion. Apple Offer Codes are subject to Apple Media Services terms. Governing law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus, excluding conflict‑of‑law principles. Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
